Don’t Get Infected By The Twenty Dollar Ebook Syndrome

Making sales of one thousand dollars or more in your internet business is absolutely intoxicating. It really drives home the point that you can make a nice living working from the comfort of you own home running your own internet- based business. That feeling, sadly, is also something that the majority of internet marketers have never experienced!

At my recent Internet Marketing How To Workshop, several speakers admonished attendees, not to get stuck selling just twenty dollar ebooks. We all reflected upon how it felt the first time we checked our email and saw that we had an order and had just earned twenty dollars. We admitted that this use to get us excited. However, we also had to move beyond that point, we had to shift our thinking to greater possibilities if we were going to earn a full-time living from the internet.

Study any successful internet marketer and you will see that he offers a range of products at different price points. That’s what I do. My least expensive product is $9.97 and my most expensive product is currently $2495. In between I offer audiotapes at $197, videotapes at $297, and consulting at $250 per hour. I offer this range, because different people want the information I offer in different formats. Different people learn best according to how their brains are wired. Read the rest of this entry »

Microsoft Publisher Basics

For those who still don’t know, Microsoft Publisher 2000 assists users to easily produce, modify and print materials such as flyers, catalogs, brochures, newsletters and websites. I have two tutorials in this article that can hopefully help you get started with this software and may solve some of the problems that you’ll encounter when you use it as a first-timer.

The first tutorial discusses about how to pack your publication to take to another computer. First, go to ‘File/Pack and Go/Take to Another Computer’. The Pack and Go Wizard brings you all throughout the different steps of the packing process. Then, click ‘Next’ to move to the following step. If you’re transferring your publication on disk to another computer, click ‘A:’ when the wizard asks you to select a location where your file will be saved. Also, click ‘Browse”, select the drive and folder you want, and click ‘OK’ if you’re placing your files on a network, on an external drive, or on your computer’s hard disk. Click ‘Next’ afterwards. Book Review

This extraordinary book was recommended to me by a colleague after he visited my new web site, Gift Ideas For Women. The Male Gift Giving Survival Guide compliments my website perfectly, untangling for men the web of gifts for women. It deciphers the components of the complex female psyche to its most logical terms. And no, that’s not a misprint…I just used the words “female” and “logical” in the same sentence.

There is but one universal truth about those of the fairer sex: “Women Love Gifts”. So, all women love gifts… a guy doesn’t have to be a genius to grasp that concept. Or does he? Ask your golf buddy who gave his wife a garden rake for her birthday. “You just had to remind me” he mumbles dropping his head. Make certain that you have lined up another friend for next week’s game though…your buddy is going to drop you like a rock. According to the author, women adore gifts that reflect the love of the giver and his explicit understanding of her desires and tastes.

As a woman, I must salute this author. His book is the literal lifeboat of women’s gift ideas, without which no self-respecting man would ever set sail on the sea of relationships. The author, Tim Connor, is a seasoned and well-traveled professional speaker who has authored 45 books. He wrote this book based upon the knowledge he gained in his personal mission to discover the keys to female happiness. The result of his quest is this easy-to-read, spiral bound book that men can refer to routinely. Not only does Tim’s book disclose the keys to a woman’s happiness, it is the genuine tool for unlocking it with an ever-so-easy click. Read the rest of this entry »
